It still wont import. I tried the merge the vets. Itook it into the UDK dev kit (originally it was Unreal 3), and i get "generate/imported vertex count ratio(6836/3476) exceed expected percentage(96.66 percent vs 25.00 percent expected)."
polycount: 3450 triangles texture: 2x 512x512 + 1x 256x256 finally its finished him sth about 6 months ago I tryed myself in CGCHAT competition... I've finally found some time to finish what I'd started. c&c welcome enjoj!
Hey polycount, this is in my portfolio post aswell, but I would really like to have some crits and advice on it, so I'll go ahead and make a seperate post for it. Made this for a game project in school, model is ~3170 tris and has a 1024x1024 texture. http://www.mlinderholm.se/images/work_02/render.jpg
Is there a similar trick to getting this to work with ATI graphics cards!?! I've got the same problem on x64 max 2010 with an ati 3870 in my other machine. When I set the AA in max's configuration and restart max, it defaults back to no AA. It's not a big problem but annoying!
Painter doesn't need Ram, it needs GPU and it specifically likes cards with high memory bandwidth. If you're not offline rendering, building code or doing complex simulation / large data processing I'd probably go with 32gb and put the money saved into a 3070 or better
Uhhh ? Are you using Zbrush 2 ? You might start here http://206.145.80.239/zbc/showthread.php?t=3471 why would you get a program you seemingly know veru littl about ...unless yer a pirate ?? ..hmmm ..arr matey ..
probably gonna go with an i7 3770. not top of the line, but good enough to last a long time. whole thing is lookin to be about $1100, big chunk of that is the 256gig ssd, and a weapons grade power supply of 1200w. I might ditch the power supply for something more reasonable.
I have a 650watt power supply. I have no graphics :( the on board is a AMD A4 3400 HD redeon, but i believe this would be my processor really? I'm not massively computer literate. is there a link if possible, I wouldn't know where would be besy to look :)
agree with the yellow, so i made it the default. i think the dude is done for now, next up is his weapon. to be sure i just made some more color variations. btw he hes ca. 3400 tris/verts 1024² gamerez textures applied here.
'Finished' this for a Uni assignment. Task was to model a self portait and then zombiefy it using zbrush. First time head modelling and first time sculpting so was a big challenge. Parts of the texture are lacking but i was rushing towards the end :( Any crits much appreciated! 3370 tris and 2048x2048 maps
