I've generated my normal map in maya using the transfer map for both the head and the body... but after rendering, artifacts show up for the body (quite clearly too..) but not for the head, does anyone know why this is?? the image below shows the artifacts that i talked about.. Great demo, but my eyes breathed a sigh of relief when it was over.. soo. much. contrast.. It ran pretty well on the machine I tested it on too, which was built in 2007. And yeah this guy Pelikan13 is pretty elusive.
Hmmm i'd love to play around with the character editor but acess to the level editor is cool also . At least a lot of modders will be familier with it and ready to pump out some good mod levels for Unreal 2007..etc etc

damn this is looking awesome, look forward to seeing where it goes. do you think custom uv mapping would be an option? ie mapping follows spline and user can set the uv coords ( mapping region of tiling texture ). also let's see it on a mesh that's 10 000 polys :smiley:
