Mummy Commando

I´ve been playing a lot of old games lately, one of them beeing Captain Commando...a Streets of Rage clone with some pretty weird characters.
This one caught my eye:

According to Wikipedia he´s a knife wielding mummy from outer space wearing a baseballcap.
I don´t think I have to state that this is awesome.

Here´s my take on him:

Still have to model the knives and holster.

I thought some loose bandages could help sell the mummy thing a bit better, because I kept the proportions a bit more realistic.
Still have some Ideas in my head but I don´t know if I can pull it all off.

i like the character, its shaped pretty well especially the arms. you might want to reconsider your edge loops, though. right now, they don't seem to flow very well. you want to try and have your edges flow like the muscles of the body, keeping deformation in mind when it will be animated.

Dreig, slaught's loops are very clean, he just hand-placed some tris for smoothing reasons. Should deform great.

the pants area seems to be a bit flat compared to the rest. All other forms seem to be nicely handled, but the pants are just blaaa at the moment. most notably in the sideish view. very fun piece! hope you take this one to finish

although if you look at the reference thats pretty much how they look, you could argue it's part of the character. lookin cool btw lookin forward to texture!

Really like the look of the guy, extremely well built but from looking at the reference your arms and legs seem to small. On the character shown in the reference pics he has very long exaggerated arms and legs where your models dont seem to be exaggerated enough.

There too normal I think. In your ref his shoulder to elbow seem to be the same length as his neck to his torso. His pelvis to his knee cap seem to be bigger then the either top half of his body including his head.

I think if you exaggerate his arms and legs more it will look more "mummy like" and closer to your ref pics. Right now he just looks like a really skinny guy.

-edit: I know you kept the proportions more realistic but for me it just doesn't read as a crazy knife welding mummy.
