Click on the viewport label (Perspective) and turn on viewport clipping. This will give you a slider with two arrows on the right side of the viewport, adjust these arrows to adjust the viewport camera clipping. It might also help to work at a different scale, then resize your object and reset the scale before exporting.
Looks really cool, but there is one thing bothering me about the cherub, and thats how there is a box encasing the barrel under the slide, which is really odd, and probably a first in handguns, since that is taking up the space for where the spring that drives the slide forward usually sits. Though I really love that the…
Im working on making a modular interior kit for a warehouse that has corridors, hallways, different rooms branching from hallways etc. I can't seem to figure out the best workflow for my situation. If I have an interior room wall that shares a wall with a hallway, should those be two separate meshes or should those be one…
About 70% blocked out. Added bipod and cleaned up some extra geometry on the receiver Still to go: Bolt charging handle and grooves on right side, a few bolts and the safety, detail on the handguard, details on buttstock end, and then the little bits inside the feed tray and feed tray cover Almost there. Just need to add…
01 - Select All Element If you select the object in object mode you can do a selection conversion to verts/faces/edges. Just hold Ctrl+right-click with the object selected and then go "To Vertices"/"To UVs" etc. It would also be very simple to write a script that would give you all vertices based on a currently selected…
Goal for today : get the hip junction done. My idea for this vehicule's is that the hip and knee for each leg are each powered by a different engine, while the foot and ankle articulations are powered by way of hydrolic actuators. Engine A powers the Hip, but the energy to power the knee has to go from Engine B through the…
Big improvement on textures. Now work on material definition. Check out a lot of pistols. Some are all black, all metal. Some have stainless steel slides or gun black slides and plastic trigger assembly housings, or even metal trigger assembly housings. Push the contrast. Add dots, lines, whatever you need to create a…
http://www.polycount.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=781&d=1284685518 But I'd try to mirror the sides. As in have a few strips in the middle to cover up the mirrored look, yet saving texture space by only having 1 side texture. Vig: couldn't he still just slice up the cylinder texture in 6,3 or 2 parts? No need to…
@bhavya_rathore What you have is a good starting point. To complete the shape just run a bevel / chamfer operation on each side to round off the corners. Then, if the model needs to be subdivided, add the support loops around the base of the shape intersection.
