Hello guys, I'm still working on my scene in UE4 and would love to add some spider webs on the corners of the room, but I would like to know the best way to create them. I'm still new in the industry. Thank you :)
A google search doesn't turn up anything for me. So, I've come to my friends at polycount. Is there any way to create flipbook textures -- *For free? *quickly *That don't look like a jarlbed mash of pixels on a screen? Thanks in advance, polycount!
I was just thinking about How do you create textures for stuff like these. Do you hand-paint them using softwares like photoshop or first sculpt them in zbrush then bake different textures and paint over in photoshop?
I haven't used dDo in a while but I thought in an older version I was able to keep my textures tiling. Currently I am finding my layer masks don't tile are area going to create some noticeable seams. Am I missing a check box somewhere here or do I need to go and edit all of the masks to make sure they tile?
Hello, I make a small VR Project in Unity and I want to create the LODs for my models myself. But when I reduce the poly count the normals of the mesh don't match the baked normals anymore. So the result is clearly visible changes when the LOD level is switched. The Problem is, not the difference in shape, but always in…
Hi, I'm currently employed full time at Frontier, working on Elite:dangerous. I'm looking for a fun project to work on in my spare time. I'd prefer to create weapons but I don't mind doing some props as well. Portfolio: http://joostvanhoutte.com/

Hi guys. I was wondering what is the best way to create something like this? I'ts very complex so sculpting by hand or drawing alpha it is not the best idea i presume ;) Is it possible to change the part of this picture into alhpa and recreating this shape in substance painter or something?
The autoretopo is excellent, Im using it for creating basemeshes for sculpting. My workflow is to create a voxel concept shape then autoretopo then sculpt then autoretopo and clean at the end of the process to get your lowpoly. works great so far :)
