seforin, thats usually the downside with most hdtv's, they're usually made for watching movies or such on, playing games secondary, so inputlag is almost always something you have to live with. it can vary and be quite horribly high on many tv's -

Why no external zip them to Mediafire or such? I usually like to avoid direct download from sites which are 'free' like yours due to knowing the pain of bandwidth, so I usually end up trying to download from somewhere else. -

Having some weird trouble baking out the normal map for the gun. I'm doing what I usually do, which usually works, but I get weird seams. Updated the materials on the character model to get closer to the cleaner look of the game. -

Sub-D modeling workflow?
I have a question about Sub-D modeling. Anybody who goes about this workflow; do you usually start with the high poly Sub-D model first, then retopo it? Or do you usually start with the low poly, then work on making that into the high poly sub-D'd model? Any tips or tricks, workflow ideas? -
Maya Options Missing
So usually I start my lowpoly models with a 4 sided cylinder in Maya (2012). However recently, after creating a cylinder primitive, when I go into the attribute editor and click on Polycylinder01, no options come up. Usually it branches into several options, one of them being subdivisions axis. It's just gone. Can anyone… -

i do a lot of research and did exactly what you suggested, looked at gun parts, ejection ports, grips, you name it , to get more of an idea how to create it. there is one big big issue though: this isnt your regular sci fi gun design, its supposed to match the imperial manufacture and design philosophy in warhammer 40k.… -
