Yea, most character art/anatomy practices are shown in individual threads. The thing is anatomy knownedge is as important as is hard surface modeling skills for an environment/prop artist. We can't expect to make good characters without enough anatomy knownedge, sure everyone can practice individually and improve on it but…
@blackdragonstory, you ask a good question, but I am not the one who have the answer for that. You have to feel for your self for when the best time to start sitting in zbrush is. It is good to sit in zbrush, in my opinion if you got a good grasp on anatomy already. But if you are not so familiar with anatomy, then it will…
Hey guys! I'm working on a Low-Poly model of a boat for a small video game. I need your feedback because it's hard for me to judge my own work with so little skill. :) The boat will be visible for a player from a large distance. I base it on "Mako 21 lts" boat references and want to achieve realistic look with stylized…

Stop making excuses and just get to work. There's no magic in character design or modeling, it all just comes with practice and an understanding of what you're looking at and what you need. And, to be frank, it's pretty apparent you don't know anatomy. At least not as well as you may think. Nine months of figure drawing…
Nice!!! It is going great! I sometimes lack the imagination to fill in the blanks left by the concept, it's something I must practice more. Thanks a lot for showing me!

Go to the Opacity setting up top and drop that to about 80%, then in the brush options use the Opacity Jitter (Other Dynamics) and Size Jitter (Shape Dynamics) and change them to pen pressure. Also, in the Shape Dynamics I usually have my minimum diameter set to…
