right, right! thanks guys, it was the initial size. after taking imbue's advice to check wireframe i saw that it was indeed spawning the models, they were just surrounding the camera. however, if you wouldn't mind helping me with another issue... the models are now spawning, but they are not lit. thoughts? thanks again. -
Using the spin tool in Blender 3d/ Reversed faces?
I used the spin tool in blender 3d. I did everything right but the problem is after the spin some of the faces (or normals?) are facing the opposite direction of each other. Why does this happen? I want them to face the correct way... which is outward not inward, because then the faces are hidden, and that's not good. How… -

how to dynamically spawn child actors that can be transformed in editor?
yeah - as above. I want to spawn <n> child actors and allow the user to modify their transforms at editor time. The obvious ways don't work cos everything gets reset by the construction script. I'm sure this is doable, I'm just missing something any ideas? examples? thanks
