If you go under preferences, the file tab has a few options you can toggle off when it comes to save file handling. Compress on Save - makes saving take a little bit longer (much longer if it's a big file it's trying to compress) Save Viewport Thumbnail Image - not much of a difference here, but if you don't care about…
Great script. I like to save my Max files using the + button to save them in sequence instead of over writing the same file. Could this script be modified to save as 2012 files and to trigger to auto-save in a numbered sequence. thanks
Hi, I was wondering if anyone had this problem. When I save my ztl it sometimes (maybe 1 out of 50) removes the file and all traces from my hard drive. No where to be found. I've heard people say save increments. And even though that's a good save tip, I'd like to figure out what is causing this. Any ideas ?
Anyone ever had the issue where they lost the ability to save as certain file types in Photoshop? I'm using Photoshop CS3, and I can no longer save files as PNGs or TGAs or an assortment of other types.
Ah thank you. Yeah i mean it save time if i just need to make a quick fix on something on the low poly like just move a part over or so then having to export all the high and low poly as one again as that takes time to save.
Not necessarily. A quick saving system can be abused ( saving every few minutes) whereas in a checkpoint system the developer chooses when you should be able to save.
