Hey all! ^^ I'm a 19 years old student in my final year at school and after that i want to study game design. However my grades are at what would be a D in american schools . I don't really worry about them being too bad for studying but if i'd apply for a job in gamedesign how important would my final grades actually be?…
FUN TIMES. So, we've an influx of spam happening once in a while now that our authentication is turned off. We don't have many (read: 1? maybe 2?) moderators from Europe's side of the planet so we need to fill some holes! Interested in helping us out? Cool! What I'm after in a moderator is... * 19 or older. * Have been a…
Hi Obviously, this depends on the project/game/scope/requirements etc. but what is a good maximum amount of UV sets for a character to have? I mean, with the Arthur Morgan model I have from RDR2, he has roughly around 19-20. Literally one texture set per object/accessory/item of clothing. My current character I'm working…

And this project has also helped me with my goal as to what I wish to focus on. And that is characters but also monsters. So lots…
I think it should actually be forward scattering... most likely the light vector, L, on line 19 should be negated, g should be positive and set somewhere between 0.25 to 0.5. Well, let me say this. I got a NES when I was 2 years old and played every violent videogame you could possibly imagine since then. The Mortal Kombat series were my favorite games to play. Guess what happened? Nothing. I'm 19 years old with a great job, I'm going to college, I have a girlfriend, and I'm a nice guy.…
LCDs are pretty spendy and I totally agree with all points above about the colors. CRTs are still graphically better. I use a 19" NEC MultiSync FE990 (CRT) i picked up about 2 years ago for about $260 new. Very good brand and monitor. I highly recommend NECs, Sony or the Dell CRTs (the dells have trinitron parts in them so…
