I seem to remember that the default player height is 200units. If you want to make your objects fit a character that's around 160-180cm, you might have to scale everything up by around 10-15% to match.

Actually the 7900 is pretty close in price to the 8600 seems like they go for like $115-160 on newegg these days, and the 8600 is in the 100-115 range. But honestly, $100 for a dx10 card? Not really what i'de consider all that crappy.
They are not very high poly, the newest sword I did is only 630 tris :o I'd say most weapons are in the 800-2000 tri range, depending on scale/level of detail

for my env assets i use 300 rays and 2AA. Spreadangle 160-170 btw: jogshy please add a real(seperate) limit ray lenght for ao. it's really annoying and makes using xnormal impossible in some cases..
Looks good but I might consider a bigger hard drive, depending on what you might end up doing with it. My 160 gig that seemed big a couple of years ago is just about full with video of my new son.
