Hey guys Long time lurker, first time poster. Anyway I know it's a bit of a cliche but here's an orc I am working on atm. It's actually a really old model I decided to fix up this weekend just gone and I could use some critique (anatomy in particular) and suggestions for armour / accessories. If people want I'll post what…
some time ago I started making Dark Eldar female, but I kinda chocked when creating overall armour design. because I have not planed it. so I scrapped it and started creating this from that mesh. I want to make cyberpunk/neon-y stile biket, with bionic arm and maybe eye. here is first look. I'll post the progress. PS: any…
@pixelpatron Do you mean this? That's the pergola arbor with magenta bougainvillea growing on it outside the first restaurant. I was thinking of having a shot that would act as a sort of lead-up or transition between the main street and that terrace restaurant but I had trouble finding a composition I liked, so that shot…
Thanks for the words of encouragement mate. I will defenetly be focused on learning as much as I can. It's just that I'm not a creative person in the sense of design. So creating things like clothing, or vehicles, or robots, armour. I have NO sense of design whatsoever. So I guess that's what I need to really focus on…
oh, larvaes actually have that purple thingies because they enlarges to form that crabby armour in stage 2, i did also a mid-stage pass that i think i'll use in a morph animation (not as a full character), you can see it in the last screenshot. it's a sci-fi game so I like to give a bit of credibility to the stuff also if…
skanker! that's awesome! i stand corrected. and i suppose that come to think of it, because you can't do morph targets in games (inless you can in next gen stuff) then you'll probably have to rig the hell out of the face, too.. and bones for armour that shifts about, etcetc. yah, silly me. sometimes i forget about stuff…
hey BoN! Thanks for the feedback. Yes I agree on the teeth and gums being too bright and saturared, I will fix those. The sunglasses and belt are for the other 2 Battletoads.. didn't want to load him up with all the props so they can look different. Yes I will be detailing the gauntlets and armour, they're too plain right…
I haven't been happy with the shoulder armour so I changed that a bit. I thought it would be cool if he came back from hunting or something like that and I liked the idea of slinging a dragons head on a chain over his shoulder. He would place some of the treasure in the mouth on his belt. Thanks for viewing. Any feedback…
Hi guys, I’d like to share my Honourable Mentioned King Arthur for ArtStation The Legend of King Arthur Challenge. The character is sculpted in ZBrush, modeled and retopologized in Maya, textured in Subtance Painter and rendered in real-time with Marmoset Toolbag. You can view more hi-res screenshots of wireframe and UV on…
Hi there I'm currently creating a number of assets for a project. I'd like some ongoing feedback as I create this stuff over the next couple of months. This armoured van (based on the lenco bearcat - not shooting for an exact replica) is for a cinematic, and will only be baked down later. This is the shot, with the camera…
