Hi everyone! I recently made a 3D model that need to be scaled in width and length separately with different measures. For this purpose I used a morph modifier, using one channel to target at the largest model and another one to the longest, so currently I have two channels that go from 0% to 100% (you can go beyond of 100…
@poopipe Would it be correct to assume that what you're trying to describe is essentialy backing LOD's from folliage where the lowest LOD has a bilboard for each leave (also has trunk and branch meshes) and each successive LOD's incorporates an even large bilboard that encompases more leaves, all the way until we're left…
Sounds like a driver issue to me. Is any part in your system overclocked? Overclocking causes all sorts of nonsense as the hardware isn't designed to clock that high. I've seen reports of basic instructions like xor x, x (should always return zero as it flips all high bits in x) failing with as little as a 250mHz overclock…
Hi, i'm a little confused about the texture rules "4 x 4096 texture sets maximum (can be split further: 1 x 4096 = 4 x 2048, etc.)" does 1 set contain anything from (albedo, normals, roughness) or are all those considered separate sets?
Hey guys and guysettes, I was playing around with Zbrush symmetry and was wondering how I would copy my X axis TO the Y axis (or even Z to get some kind of cube). As of now I can only mirror 1 side of the X axis to its opposite X side but my wanted result is more similar to the double symmetry modifier in MAX (take 1 side…
Hi Everybody! With X-mas coming up and all, we thought it would be the perfect time to give something back to the community who have provieded us with so much invaluable feedback and suggestions! Therefore I´m proud to announce the "Quixel Winter Games of 2014"!! (Patent pending) All the games are made up by and judged by…
I am not experienced in programming or blueprint, I know just very basic stuff. I was following a tutorial for a vehicle, but I wanted to do some extra stuff. Like making the vehicle tilt on the side as it turns. Like in this image, the vehicle tilts on the Y axis not just turning. The tutorial made the vehicle tilt…
Ok.... so I'm an idiot... I had the Normal Map settings to X+ X+ Z+... Now I'm fighting with reflections of the model coming out of nowhere, even with Mix/Max Ray set, by the Calculator. My OccMap also shows these 'reflections' artifacts. Also, still fighting with the best method to bake smooth corners to hard edges. Cheers
