I'm surprised that nobody is talking about custom game modes yet! Personally I think custom game modes will be a great addition to the workshop. I've read this on http://www.ongamers.com/articles/dota-2-7th-march-patch-content-analysis/1100-1001/ Custom gamemode strings. + "game_mode_15" "CUSTOM" +…
I dont see what UDK has to do with the original question ? Theres is no guarantee that the latest UDK can or cannot open BS assets so yeah its a totally legitimate question. (however, the game not having any multiplayer mode that I know of, makes it a bit of a hard case for popular modding ...)
Hello. There is something in Max that bothered me for... years. I never select object or verts/edges etc. in move/rotate/scale mode. I ALWAYS do it in the selection mode (hotkey: q) to make sure I cannot change anything but selecting the clicked object. So I got used to pressing q like aaaall the time. Works fine but I…
I didn't see this thread, i still play the game and i have all the dlcs. This should be included as a mod for the game in Steam. I would like to play in a co-op mode 2-4 players.
The slowdowns I see with that are: a) you need to be constantly aware of your camera position and in which axis you want to move. That always take me a second of thinking, so it loses out of the box.b) with ZXY, I can never hit the right button without looking down at my keyboard. c) actions that don't need to be precise…
Instead of solid mode with phong shading - I'd preview whatever 'lighting' artifact you think may have occurred in either lookdev/material or cycles viewport lit with a basic 3 point setup which would enable people too offer more effective feedback, if applicable?
I had some lights , a few spot lights and a dominant directional, as well as a few meshes that had emmisive enabled. I was getting some issues so I decided to delete all my lights and turn of the emmisive meshes and start over. When Irebuild my scene with no lights in it, its all dark or almost black when in lit mode. If I…
Hey everyone, I’ve just uploaded a new project on Artstation where I’ve been focusing on lighting in Unreal Engine 5. I’m really trying to explore how lighting can shape the mood and atmosphere of a scene, and I’d love to get some feedback from the community here. Any thoughts or suggestions for improvement would be super…
Might want to pick up the 2700K, its significantly faster for rendering etc but only $100 more, you could go for a little less expensive mobo, not sure why you need a "military grade" modo(reading the specs on newegg) or advanced temp control stuff unless you're overclocking, which is sort of a waste if you're spending…
