Hey Polycount! I did a Handpainted Lowpoly Crossbow model based on Xavier Houssin’s concept: https://www.artstation.com/xaxa Would love some feedback, thanks!
This is quite interesting, and the result does look good too with the low resolution! It would be very cool to see examples of the actual normal map texture that you handpaint. I am very curious to see how it looks like for the toothpaste for example, where I would expect non trivial shapes. Also why low resolution? Is it…
Are you going for just a handpainted look? Might help if there was a concept to compare to as well. I dig the shapes! I think the textures could use a lot of love. If he is just handpainted, he could use a metal highlight pass and an AO pass in general. I would look at some good ref of handpainted metals like from Blizzard…
Hey everyone, This is my first time posting here and I'm super excited to get some critique :] I have for you a WIP on a handpainted scene titled "Madmans Lair" as inspired by the Riot team. My questions is is there a scripter for ZBRUSH that can…
[URL=" [/URL] Starting my blockout...first day off since the challenge began. I'm going to try a handpainted style, but I'm going to outline my textures...like in a graphic style. Not the traditional handpainted look where everything is blended. Also I'm going to try to simplify my textures so its not as time consuming…
100% handpainted! No materials. I just didnt feel like using photoshop, I wanted to practice my painting in substance. And heavily considering learning 3D Coat, especially since I'm slowly getting more into handpainting. I guess learning a new program can feel a bit daunting? Much appreciated! I would like a bit of…
