That's some really great work there. My only point of critique is the showcasing. You can use some "Radial Blur" to suggest some movement in your scene. I've written a small tutorial for you on how to achieve this. 1) Start up "PhotoShop". 2) Click the left button of your mouse on the word "File" on the top left side of…
hmm, depends on which one you pick. In most cases you will get some *.ms file (maxscript) which contains the script. So if you take the first script, it links to: http://scriptspot.com/files/Tik_Mass_Randomizer_v1.913.mcr which is a macroscript (mcr = macroscript), a macroscript is container that holds the maxscript so…
I feel like this is such a small question that it doesn't really deserve it's own thread, but I find myself in this situation all the time and it seems like it should have a simple fix. I use those snapping buttons at the top of the image a lot. I realize it's not necessary to have shells precisely on top, but I'm a bit of…
thanks charlied, its great to hear it works. i might pick one up too. i just don't understand why they removed a button in the first place. does anyone else think the sp4 stylus button is hard to find by feel and difficult to push down? hopefully sp3 buttons are more similar to wacom pens?
Thanks! But nothing helps. I tried button "Import custom mat" in new ddo project - same error. Tried "Add custom" button in "material browser" - still error. Only way I see is to use "save smart material" button instead, but its not handy because it'll bring chaos in all libraries :icon15:
I made myself a button that exports selection to c:temp as temp.mb, I then have another button which imports c:temp/temp.mb No groups, works between scene or with multiple copies of Maya open. You could make this a single button in Maya 2011 or later by giving it double click properties to import and single click to export.
Another question i had was with Marmoset itself. Whenever I open it up to mess around with, all the buttons seem to be offset below themselves.. if that makes any sense.. for example, i'd have to click about an inch below where the button displays to actually click the button for a reaction. Any fixes or ideas? Thanks…
Yeah, I wouldn't be able to do any 3d work with my Intuos stylus without the MMB and RMB (no use for the eraser button though). Having only one button other than LMB would suck... what were those pentagram people thinking!? Hopefully they will make a Cintiq clone with TWO (or more) buttons on the pen.
You mean the: open material editor, then click on the Standard button and select DirectX 9 Shader? If you are running in OpenGL then you propably have to change to DX by going to Customize>Preferences... go to Viewports tab and click on Choose Driver... button, then select DirectX 9 (or if you cant then there should be…
