Aion will use CryEngine 1 not CryEngine 2. CryEngine 1 was used in Far Cry 1. CryEngine 2 was used in Crysis 1. so Aion will be severely outdated as usual for MMOs, hence i deride it like i do with everything that is anti-progress. -

Unified method of get and set sub-object selection for Editable Poly and Edit Poly.
I accidentally found a unified method of getting and setting sub-object selection for an Editable Poly objects and Edit Poly modifier. The main problem is that the object must be selected. I found it in PolyTools.ms script(maxRoot\stdplugs\stdscripts\PolyTools.ms), so only 3dsmax 2010 and above can use it. I am pretty sure… -

Snefer, why exactly do you use a 2:1 texture when using this method? What advantage does going 2:1 give over doing 1:1? (eg: 512x256 as opposed to 512x512 or 256x256, sans the fact that higher res is pretty) -
