Unwrap UVW "Ignore Back Facing" OFF?
Can anyone tell me how to turn "Ignore Back Facing" OFF by default in the UVW Editor? Every time I unwrap I have to click this damn button. If I wanted to ignore backfaces I would tell it to :poly109: I assume its in some sort of .ini file or some sort of settings. Anyone know where this is? -

I'm curious in general what are or were the biggest issues that each of you faced learning game dev? An example, I remember it taking me way to long as an artist to fully understand normal maps. Direct x versus opengl, matched tangent bias etc. -
Maya vertex / Edge / Face position (Noob question)

Anyone have a maya script that selects faces with no material assigned.
I would like to select a model, than click a button and have it select all the faces on the model that do not have materials assigned to them. Anyone written this yet? -

you can use 'face' but then put a UVWunwrap modifier on top of that to rotate the texture. you could also use 'face' and then put a UVxform modifier to rotate the texture. either way should work. -

Biggest things to me are that her neck is a bit too long and her face looks too narrow. I would widen her face a bit and maybe shrink her eyes too. You can always test this is Photoshop with liquify etc. to see if that's where you want to go -
