Lo-Fi Games are currently looking for someone to make a bunch of creatures for our game, Kenshi. Potential candidate must be comfortable with the standard workflow of high-to-lowpoly modelling, baking and texturing. The tasks would concist of making our concepts of scifi/fantasy creatures into 3d, and nothing else. hence…
http://skiwan.esforces.org/ Well, decided I should jump into the lions den with this one and get it ripped apart by people who know what they're talking about. It's not full as much as I'd like on the modelling or design side, this is due to the 2 year wow binge that stopped me doing anything >_< Only made my paladin since…
After I rigged the character, I noticed that I should have started it with the character's mouth closed. Does that mean that I have to go back to the start and close the character's mouth using edge loops or vertices and then redo the advanced skeleton? If so, is there any option in advanced skeleton where you can transfer…

Then repeat for the rest of the object. Its going to eat quite a few polygons but if its for presentation and not games i would model it. The problem…
I don´t intend to make a replica of the real world model, but have a base to develop a good modeling exercise. I took the caliper model from this picture.
How can I find out if a 3d model is damaged? I will say right away that it is not possible to open it in any program, it can only be converted, and then there is only one way and no more.
Sometimes it helps if you have an overwhelming interest that inspires passion! Most modelers seem to have a concentration preference ( at least to start out with ). It seems most modelers come to cg sculpting from varying interests. You have the model car types, or the military weapon / vehicle types, The largest interest…
