Great to see a fellow Dutch guy kicking so much ass. I love the environment, the sci-fi assault rifle shouldn't be rendered in zbrush, looks kinda ugly, I would try this instead. If you run out of resources, decimate and reload into max. http://eat3d.com/free/rendering_presentation
Thankyou! I'm hoping it'll be good enough for a portfolio piece (have to start somewhere I suppose). I'd love to get it into a game, but don't know animation and I didn't model it so it could open for reloading shells. So I guess at best it could be a display / replica weapon :poly124:
Hmm, I've decided to reload the prior version because it may be a disappearing object or something I did. Here is a screen capture of what it looks like when selected in the outliner. It also chopped the top off the reference. Formerly, the polygon was a skull shape. I was cleaning up the geometry for the nose cavity.
new update available. * fixed crash with selection * reworked MenuTab Visualisation * fixed DrawMargins * move Window Commands below Title (save, load, reload) * adding load feedback to mainarea * adding more tooltips to various controls here a nice packing example when we tested around a bit
I would say time vs value, if you feel that the interior is taking you more time then the exterior then maybe you would gain more by just making two weapons instead of one, or just create the parts that would show during a reload/shooting animation instead of the whole thing.
It's been a while since I posted this and as I see no solution was found. I found that opening the file in another computer turned my normals back to normal and could export them just fine. So, that means it's my computer's fault. If anyone also has had this problem, I have a sort of "fix" for this, but not a way to solve…
Hello @zenonithus , This initially sounds like a graphics card issue to me. Can yo make sure you have the latest driver for your graphics card installed as well as running the latest build of Toolbag (308). If you are using previous versions of the software then you may be running into issues with the reload and auto…
Linking isn't supported in SUITE 2.X the same way it was in SUITE 1.X. You can use two different options: 1) Save your texture to a 3DO-readable format from Photoshop, load it into 3DO's Import tab. Every time you update the texture, 3DO will hot-reload it. You can create a Photoshop action to save it by pressing F2 or…
Haha! It's interesting it's taken this long for someone to post about it working this way (or at the very least for me to notice someone asking about it!) Clicking on the banner is a legacy function of the banner, dating back to before we had rotating art banners and it just said 'POLYCOUNT' in that space. (You'd click on…
AAAGH!! I loved these games when I was a young teen! I got up into the world top 100 for 1v1s in Worms: Armageddon when I was 13. 11 years later, they FINALLY release a version going back to the tried-and-true 2d layout. I'm oozing with excitement in places I never thought I could ooze out of :)…
