Whenever I'm editing my animations in 3dsm 7 using the curve editor, cpu usage spikes up which results in displaying jumpy animations. When I minimize the editor it'll display the anims smoothly again. Any way to fix this?
Hi, we (major media company, western germany) are looking for a person who'd like to help us on 3D-Model-editing and uv-mapping for hard surfaces. This would be a fulltime and permanent employment. If you are interested, please write a message. Goetz
Hello - I personally find the PME add-on (Pie Menu Editor) to be great for that sort of things, as not only does it allow you to build menus like the name implies but it also lets you easily create little macros and assign them to a key - without having to write a full-on addon to register just for a small action. The PME…
Hey thanks for all of the suggestions guys! Yeah, part of my intention was to make a a sort of juxtaposition between the face and body. I kind of like the stockiness to it. And part of my intention was also to make it a little eerie. Really the main thing that makes it creepy are the glowing eyes. I'll try out the…
Thanks @WadeWT , that gives me a lot to go off of. I don't know nothing about writing shaders beyond basic work with the UE4 material node editing (which I guess is just visual shader scripting), but maybe with a few weeks of research and experimentation I can come up with something decent. Maybe that is totally…
Making some progress on mine, but there's some strange UV stretching behaviour near the start of the virtual window that I can't seem to account for. It stretches out seemingly infinitely before starting to recede as you'd expect. I can't really account for this. It does remind me of traditional art vanishing point…
1) It would be better to ask the animators (try Helenek or Tvidotto), but you definitely can't without at least editing all his animations from what I've seen. Don't worry though, there's a few unanimated birds already in the item list lol. 2) Kinda nope. Tvidotto made a post in the workshop thread showing an edited…
Here's a feature that would be cool to have for low poly modeling, and would make this the ultimate one-click chamfer tool. I would love it if I could have this modifier chamfer and edit vertex normals automatically. This can help immensly for normal mapping as well as making interesting curvature/chamfers without spending…
@ACap: Thank you! :) You know how I feel about your work, so I appreciate the compliment. @Andyvargas: Thank you man! I'm glad you like it! I did a bit of a texture edit and tried to get that hood alittle darker for ya :D @Byren Thank you! ^_^ I really enjoyed your kill la kill riven too @AlfheimProductions: Oh man I don't…
It doesn't crash for me 3dsmax2014-sp5 but I do get some wildly unpredictable results when I use it as intended (for skinned objects that won't be edited). My issues are just with what I see in the viewport, it loses textures and displays black textures, but it renders fine. It's not a huge boost to viewport speed so I…
