Whenever I'm editing my animations in 3dsm 7 using the curve editor, cpu usage spikes up which results in displaying jumpy animations. When I minimize the editor it'll display the anims smoothly again. Any way to fix this?
It's super annoying. I either close it, or render out a quick preview. I bound "Make Preview" to alt-p I use it so much. You can't really relay on the viewport for much sometimes...

As a workaround turn on the Selected and Animated Filters. Anytime you playback the animation deselect all your objects.
Curve Editor Open and 50 bones selected = 1.5 FPS
Curve Editor Open and 1 bone selected = 20 FPS
Curve Editor Open no objects selected = 49 FPS
Curve Editor Closed and 50 bones selected = 57 FPS
Curve Editor Closed no objects selected = 65 FPS
Maya doesn't have this problem from what I remember. So lame.
Thanks anyway.
Hey, Monster, your toolbar/scripts work in 2010 right?
