Hey Daz, good call. The eyes were referenced of reptiles more then birds, I tried the round eyelid thing pretty early and later again, didn't work out too well, since the shape is rather boring. At one point I also had an upper eyelid/ crowfeet thing going on. That was removed though, since it looked stupid. Awesome…
Oh lawdy is dat sum update? I threw out what I didn´t need/liked anymore and updated the page with more recent stuff. Most of the screenshots are actually pretty large but some get scaled down pretty hard when the exceed a certain width...still gotta figure out a way around this. All SDK´s can now be downloaded directly…
When it got out it was trully a breath of fresh air, we were all enjoying it trusting nevercenter to deliver quick and constants update like they did with version 1.x. Unfortunatelly they didn't and now it feels like its still in beta stage with tons of bugs spoiling the experience. I agree with you, now i wouldn't buy it…
Here is the wire as requested and a small clothing update. Note that I paint and sculpt at the same time. I have more sculpting to do and work the armor yet. I dont want to flood this thread with tons of images so here are some quick links. I know the toes may seem a little dense but I wanted to use this character to get…
Yea, I used a fresh install of xNormal 3.17.5, with all the included plugins. :) What is also a little curious, is that the tangent basis of Blender 2.57b is now identical to the tangent basis of xNormal 3.17.5, yet xNormals plugin still changes the maps values when re-normalised.…

I have a question that applies to both 2011 and 2010. Is there anyway to (other than getting a new PC) Improve the startup performance? I've done tests using the same rig 3DS Max 2009/2008 with all updates takes about 15-20 seconds to fully load up. 3DS Max 2010/2011 fully updated on the same rig takes about 90 seconds to…
well if its like an mmo i dont see the problem, nobody is complaining about having to pay for wow. this actually seems better cause you can still play the game and not have to pay just not with other people. if they add guilds, missions and continuously updated content then i think think its fairgame, question is how often…
He is right about the textures and the saturation. You don't have to take his advice, but right now, the low saturation levels is just killing your pieces visually. I get where you are coming from with sand and it beating on the objects constantly, but as an artist you have to make choices, even if it means going against…
Heya. In the end we never had time to update our textures much. Been busy doing animations, homepages as well as trying to push out something playable. Here's some gameplay footage though: [ame] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dZ6BNkYlXl4[/ame] We still haven't gotten any particles or decals in but we should be able to cram…
