Mercenary Hay guys. So this is thread is for my latest and greatest project for my Uni course. The Brief is to create a custom character for the use in the Unreal 3 engine using there skeleton rig and therefore there animations. So I started by search for an insipring characterm design online and I came across the concept…
After I really got into spending proper time learning Maya some 6 months ago this is my first venture into the sci fi genre. Had a couple of ideas that I sketched down on paper yesterday. Then sat down and did one of them today. Modelled in Maya, round tripped to Subs P and Photoshop, then rendered with Arnold GPU beta.…
What if Dolph Lundgren and a He-Man figure merged into some weird being? UPDATE While I understand that the proportions are intentionally skewed, the objective is to create a believable character that would exist in the 1980's He-Man Universe. I also had done a quick sculpt of a head a while back that I always wanted to…
I think her bizeps and trizeps needs a little more strength to give her arms a better balance and I noticed that her head is, on the concept, a little bit bigger whereby she looks more cute :) Keep it up!
Here is an update of how my Quinn is going! :# I worked on her face and blocked out her body. Feedback and CC are appreciated! I'm not sure about her proportions etc yet. Did some hair strands for fun.
Badass! Nice work! The only thing that bugs me, are the knives on her thigh, the handles should probably angle up a bit so they're easier to slide in and out. Whats that sticking out of the bottom of her shirt on her back?

Please have a look and criticize. https://vimeo.com/178411324 If anyone is interested, I'll leave here my thoughts, how the work looked, what was my inspiration and etc. Apologise for my english, it's not my native language. So the idea for the whole animation came to my mind…
Looking good. I sorta feel like her rib area and latissimus dorsi is very "boxy." If you look at the silhouette on the left side of the front image, the space between her nip and her hip bone is almost a straight line.
@Jordann Thanks! Im not very good at rigging, but Id love to see her animated, personally. @Steve schulze Good points! Ill post some experiments of making her hips and such bigger. I think that would give her balance.
