Hi I will be posting some updates on the DVD trailer creation and you tell me what you think and give me criticism watch in HD video 1 [ame] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uuw7c2R83eI[/ame] PS: for the ones who don't know, the DVD is "Blender Game Engine: Zero to Hero"
Thank you so much for the detailed feedback.I really appreciate you taking the time to point these things out.I got busy midway with work, so I haven’t been able to add more post to my portfolio.I’ve updated my asset based on the above suggestions, and I’m planning to revisit and polish the rest of the portfolio once I get…
Ah yeah AO is only affected by image based lighting (usually using a diffusely-convolved cube map and/or spherical harmonics). Can you add an IBL? Would really help to simulate nice bounce lighting. As it is, your shadows are all very very black.
How can I integrate Megascans Studio project with DDO/3DO ? For example, I want to import a surface created in megascans studio into DDO so that my car which I am texturing in DDO does not look in space, instead I want it to be on a surface while i am rendering turntable in 3DO. I know, I can export a base created in 3d…
Been messing about with the trial version of ddo just seeing what its like. the engine i am putting models into uses the spec map in the alpha channel of the defuse map. and i seen there was an option in ddo to output spec map as alpha of the diffuse.. But.. even with that selected it just spits out a diffuse map with no…

I am able to add clean layers,…
I was looking for something else but found this little gem. It's the first volume (of 12 it seems) that will guide you through the LightWave - DDO pipeline. Looks promising. I purchased it, and can't wait to take a look. http://www.liberty3d.com/2014/10/ddo-for-lightwave-users-volume-1-is-just-released/
so i started a new project in DDO, got about half way through texturing, closed the project, came back later, only to find DDO is no longer recognising the file at all. Any ideas on how to fix this?
That's really aggravating. I can see "source" versions nice to have around. But honestly, I dont have lots of time to go through the original games for the 4th? time. Why cant they offer two versions of normal games these days? CD and DVD? The amount of CD's they have to pack into boxes now, should make them more expensive…
