By the way, I’m also making characters for the FAB marketplace by Unreal Engine in parallel, so I can learn more freely. One of my characters was selected by FAB for a free giveaway in August 2025. Thanks to Epic Games for this opportunity. PS: the model has been downloaded more than 160,000 times. PS: I also think you…
The Wild West - Punto Muerto Valley (WIP) Howdy y'all! I come with you today a project that I just started. Originally I had no plan in creating a wild west-like rocky valley as I was practicing creating modular rocks but later I went overboard and decorated the whole scene with just that one rock mesh. After 2 days of…
That's the guy we've been subtly mentioning. He's in the form of Locke now. I suspect he's been in some of the roles earlier, that we assumed were Jacob. For instance, Ben's daughter reappearing, was probably that guy (since Locke was separated from Ben moments earlier). Bounchfx: yeah, I was looking at the rocks…
Made a ground rock material and a cliff rock material in Substance Designer. I chose not to put dirt on the material because in the movie it is a very rocky area that very clean. Next is to put it in Unreal and add a few rock meshes.

I was kind of upset that my laptop didn't come with DVI out and only one speaker output (so I couldn't hook up my surround sound speakers) but it looks like this may be the answer to my prayers. I just realized... could this mean hooking one screen to the DVI on the dock and another to my laptop's VGA out... tri-screen…
I decided to sculpt one of the rocks and the face in ZBrush first before starting with anything else. I figured those were the elements I would struggle the most with, so I wanted to get a rough idea of how long it would take for me to sculpt this sort of stuff before starting with anything else. I struggled a bit with the…
Hey there, Nice progress from first post to last - really great! One thing I wanted to suggest is that your value studies appear pretty good but you don't seem to have done so many colour studies. Perhaps it's time to move over to colour now? The last piece looks like you colourised it with a layer. I think you could do a…
Starting a thread for my new scene, which is inspired by this concept: I haven't done much yet, just blocked out the small scene and put some basic materials on. I've also done a first rock, which didn't turn out perfect but will hopefully work as a prop in the back of the scene. The rest of the rocks will be flatter at…
Some more screengrabs of work from the Cinematic - Tribal Mask - Spear - Rocks from the cinematic scene - Most of the rocks in those shots from the cinematic were these rock mesh's, with the vertex-paint moss shader - Another rocky pillar - For anyone interested, here's the final Cinematic from the group project -…
