Hi all, So here are images of a chair that I'm modeling. It's not textured yet, but I'm planning on doing that soon. This chair is 2,096 Tris. Any feedback on this is greatly appreciated. Thank you! :)
You got it, model something like the barrel/receiver dimensions on a trusted reference image, scale the rest of the images according to that one. You can also simply look up barrel dimensions, cartridge calibers etc, on wikipedia to get exact sizes, and base ref on that.
I need an image viewer that will allow me to have windowed ref pic over my programs that i am working oon max, maya zbrush etc. I have Acdsee but its a crack ver and keeps crashing. Any suggestions?
I've been working on this tool for making a tiling material from an image. Think of it like a more fully featured crazybump and a cheaper Bitmap2Material. It'd be great to get some more hands on it to see where any faults are. http://www.boundingboxsoftware.com/materialize/signup.php
Now that hdrshop costs 400 dollars even for a personal license, is there a program that can take an hdr lat long image and convert it into a vertical cross?
Yeah most of these image hosting sites put a clamp on image dimensions, so they're great for pimping and bad for archiving. I've set up a separate gmail account just for that. Oh, and I 4th the photobucket vote.
Apparently I didn't link the image in my last thread o.O Fixed some things, think I'll move on to some material studies. It's been so long since I painted anything :/ .
Hi everyone, here's a brief lighting update. :) Been spending quite a bit of time tweaking the lighting lately, mainly adjusting the sun angle and experimenting with different moods for the canyon environment. It’s interesting how much the entire scene changes just from relatively small adjustments. Some setups looked good…
