You assign Mesh.vertices to modify the vertices. Note that you cannot assign individual elements of Mesh.vertices, you have to assign the entire array, for instance: Vector3[] verts = myMesh.vertices;verts[0] = new Vector3(0,10,0);myMesh.vertices = verts;
because those verts are not assigned to something else assign them to calf bone give them 0.1 then select the thigh bone and change the weithing to zero. the 0.1 weight will change to 1.0 Voila ;) Max is simply preventing you from having unassigned verts. is there away to assign a hotkey for the feature "place pivot at" in the list of object tools ? i could not find it in the custom user interface. looks like it is missing!
This feature will eventually return - for now, you can easily assign ID maps from 3DO by pressing SHIFT+C+LMB on the color you'd like to assign a new material to. C+LMB on a color will assign an existing layer or group. :smile:
Check under Customize->Customize User Interface. If the command is available in there you can assign your own shortcut if there's nothing assigned by default.
