Very cool! I've been taking Scott Eaton's class on anatomy and your studies are realy inspiring. You may have already answered, but how do you choose what to base your study off of? Are you gathering a lot of reference images or working on the fly?
Hi all, I'm finished studying this year and I want to risk it and start applying for potential job opportunities in the games industry. I've done a lot of self of self study and am still learning new things everyday. Anyways I would appreciate some constructive criticism on my portfolio from you guys. AmaTimTim:…
MM speaks 100% truth. Princeton Uni published a Peer-Reviewed study about how the US is actually an Oligarchy: http://www.bbc.com/news/blogs-echochambers-27074746 http://www.businessinsider.com/major-study-finds-that-the-us-is-an-oligarchy-2014-4 It's an illusion of Democracy.
Thanks Oranghe for the crit! I really understand what you meant about the woman on the study drawing, and I´ve been practicing to get better at that. So here are my latest environments and some anatomy studies, along with a quick portrait of my girlfriend!
for exemple - can I only apply to job's that have "junior" in it, after I finished my study in Game Art? - and does my expierience in my study time count as expierence? -> like when they say "A minimum of 3 years’ experience in game development" ?
While I agree that you will learn a lot from watching someone else cock up, I think you will learn vastly more from studying those that excel. You don't study bad artists to learn how to draw, do you?
Hi there! We’re a freelance agency currently looking for a low-poly 3D modeler for an upcoming project with a small indie studio. We’re aiming for a style similar to PS1 or PS2-era games. Hello folks. After the Brawl, I decided to study and practice 3d a bit more. So, I'm sharing my studies with you Polycounters. I hope I can master this some day. This is a monster of rock I started some days ago. And this is my attempt to do a stylized old guy. Thanks for visiting!
