Dekard: Depends on the laptop screen, but that might look really ass. Some laptops - LCD screens I think - scale the lower resolutions to fit in the screen size... resulting in doubled and blurred pixels. It is a bit silly that software won't actually work AT ALL in certain resolutions... is there any good reason for it?
hmm, very good question... i can't find it anywhere either! it doesn't show up in the listener, and it's not available anywhere in the docs... it is a mystery renderhjs: snap radius is not the same as angle snap - snap radius is the size in pixels of how near you have to be to a snappable object or point before it will…
Awesome man, the hawken-burger! Was a good night, feeling a tad bit seedy today though. I was fully impressed by your pimped out ride too. For anyone who's interested, Hawken is a lot less pixelated in real life. (I'm still struggling with the kanji keyboards dude. :P)
I have the AL1916W and would give it a 5 out of 5. It is VERY bright and clear. It had one dead pixel, though (no biggie). I paid $170 US for it 2 years ago. I would recommend ACER monitors, don't know about whatever other products they have.
well as promised here they are, the videos are compressed a lot so it will stream fast so you might see some pixelation in some parts. on the baked i only baked the structure and floor. on the rendered one i have included rgb, normal/spec, shaded and wire passes. Rendered Baked
Hey guys, Simple question : how can I increase the quality of my maya fluid rendering (smoke) with maya hardware 2.0. ? When I render, the fluid is all pixelated. Even if I increase the résolution, it stays like that. Are there options I missed somewhere ? Thanks ! Here's a screen (should be smoke lol) :

Does anyone know how to avoid seams in your textures when using "convert to file texture" to bake lighting in Maya? If it would overdraw by a pixel or two that would save a tedious hour's work in PS fixing it. I'm still using Maya 4, BTW, but if there's a way to do it in later versions I'm still interested as we're…
Hello it is now possible to export car models in the first "driver" As i know that polycounters like good old pixels, i bet that tey can be interested in editing it. the spec for each car: -max 260 vertices (better to turn everything in triangles) -256*256 textures (bmp) i ll post a video of the stuff ingame And now the…
Hey, just booted up toolbag 2.0.8, haven't launched it in a while, the default skies seem really low res and pixelated. Did they always look like this or is there something wrong with my mine? I seem to remember them being much crisper than this? I don't have the sky set to any blurring.
