Re: Painting sRGB/Linear, best practices
Errr, that's complicated. Firstly if you get banding from going from sRGB to Linear, the banding occurs in the bright part of the histogram which our eyes aren't very good at seeing. You have to remember that your eyes work on a logarithmic scale, not a linear one. Physics works linearly, your eyes don't and you can see… -

I made this character as part of an art test over at the Game Art Institute. the art test is making a random game character from dishonored 2 world in 14 days, it was a great challenge and i improve lot my skills and my knowledge in character creation field, I hope like it. -

Nice, the ground looks really flat for being made out of sand, in the middle of a desert, that has sand storms. Parts of the bases of the buildings should have some piles of sand in front of them. Try to make it look like the buildings are coming out of the same. -
