Hi Guys, I am excited to be part of this competition. I chose Ekko's main skin to model. He has different props which allow me to model both hard surface and organic models. It a good challenge for me and ready to start.
Hey, Ekko is a nice pick. Here is my feedback on your current progress: -First of all you should model him in an A or T pose, with spread arms, else you'll have trouble modeling the clothes, gauntlets, ... -Neck, shoulders, belly, thighs are too wide. Forearm muscles and calves too thin. -Overall he looks not stylized enough and a tall person.
That's a good start though. Here are two images that may help you regarding stylized anatomy and proportions for Ekko: (by Stoyan Dimitrov, found on google) (official ekko concept)
Hope it helps, keep it up!
PS: I think you should avoid asking people on their thread to come and see yours, it would only make the opposite happen. People will come and help you anyway without asking, it's Polycount! ^^
Today I tried to finish the head with a clean topology. I used three pictures as references for the head and tried to make something in average. It doesn't completely give the feeling that this head is related to Ekko. if anybody has any suggestions to improve it, let me know!
