Cool! great start! I think will turn out very nice. I'd say notice how in the concept the forms all flow out like a flower and yours are kind of straight up? keep it going!
It is possible to make a blendshape not transform linearly, but instead attach it to a curve which it transforms along or something? Maybe a blendshape could be combined with a deformer to get the effect? I'm trying to simulate flower petals opening, but the linear transition isn't very great for it.
Looking good so far. For your first piece I think it would be nice to see those windows broken up some more, maybe by adding in a/c units or flower pots/boxes etc. Keep at it!
These are adorable! Please keep us updated on new stuff! I like especially the tall cactus + flowers + smaller plants combo. Looks very colourful and juicy - the graphics remind me a bit of the game Fruit Ninja! :)
I wonder where that artist vs craftsman BS came from. Why do people bother splitting hairs? You do it or you dont. I want to see a picture of the winning flower thingie. And, boobs.
Turned out great! The only thing that i could think to add would be some extra plant life, either weeds around the foundation or remnants of a flower bed. Looks awesome w/o it though.
Did you play Lost Odyssey? Amazing game with brilliant visuals and a story that was leaps and bounds above any final fantasy (First time I've gotten choked up since a certain flower girl died...)
Resident Evil 4 is a very playable game, but 4 and 5 cannot be regarded as RE titles in my opinion. If a vag-flower bursts out of your opponents head when you shoot at it, it is not a zombie= not Resident Evil.
ack blurry! i still did not get the flowers toned down like they needed. they look better now but still too bright. close ups! (photos are pretty flattering) on to my 3foot x 6foot one!
the problem doesn't come from the textures on this enviro, but from the lighting (or lack of lighting) which makes it look flat bland and undetailed. nice sculpts tho I like the oni wolf and chick with flowers statues the best
