I tried something like this when doing anatomy sculpts and couldn't find a way to make the active tool transparent except for using the imageplane plugin which has a slider for the mesh opacity, tell me if you find out otherwise ;0
another batch- worked on anatomy a bit and finished the first Gi. Gonna work on armbands nxt followed by his alternate Gi. New wire w/out Gi: Wire w/ Gi: some simple screen grabs w/ shader: CU:
I'm liking your 2d and high poly work. And the prop texturing is pretty good, quite realistic. The low poly work seems a tad limited, and the texturing could used some work. You have a good grasp on anatomy, much props for that.
i'd say metal parts still could use more contrast, other than that it looks great. previous works kick ass as well, chess piece has a really convincing anatomy and texture of thief girl shows awesome material definition.
unless you are trolling.... I can barely discern any form here and from what I can tell there are anatomy errors. the pallet is ugly and nonsensical and it looks like you've abused layer effects. this picture isn't even worth the post.
The anatomy is a tad off, especially in the arms. To be honest though, since this is your first go at a model like this I would just say ignore it. Concentrate on creating an interesting looking hi poly model more so than what is anatomically correct.
cool character, yeah latest shots arent showing, based on the shots I can see I think her torso needs to be longer and slimmer, her chest seems really petite in the concept whereas your model is more believeable anatomy.
Thanks Trevor777 for the crit. Yeah I was just kind of ignoring a lot of the anatomy, which was probably a big mistake. Anyways I went and played with some stuff, still have some work to do but its getting there. Here is where I'm at currently:
I think everything people have mentioned is spot on with the cap folds, and anatomy. I would add that I really like the shapes and design of the armor, but I think a tad bit of color would make it look awesome. Just my thoughts.
Hanska - It's been a while since I've been doing anatomy studies and I guess it's showing. :) Guess it's time to hit the tablet and get back in the habit of doing one every day. Thanks for the pointers. Cholden - Brutal, but fair. I'll take it on board.
