Hello guys, so I made a work at the MT2, but I would like to make the camera on marmoset viewer able to show only few views, not 360º of it. So, anyone knows how to lock the camera on the viewer to show only front and left of the work?
I used another color scheme in my case, black wireframe with blue points(like in topogun i guess) Turning on backface culling helps to get a better view at the reference mesh too.
My guess your issue is with 2d patterns like procedural brick texture because 3d noises look same from any view directions. For 2d patterns a common way is to use so called tri-planar projection. Blender doesn't have it by default but it's either possible to find on blenderartist.org or do it on your own: You make 3…
Yeah keep it up man, you're rockin it. Thanks for the new updates. Was also wondering if you could make the camera clipping adjustable for closer inspection of meshes, or just change the default to allow for more up close viewing.
Try zoom extents, see if that helps "reset" the view center. You could also check the scale of your scene, it could simply be super-huge in units. Try the "Rescale World (something)" utility to scale it down (or up).
For a turret prop for games 6 or 7 UDIMs sounds like way too many. This depends on the resolution of each UDIM of course, but as @Joopson mentions throwing more resolution/UDIMs at it is probably not a reasonable way to solve it. In production, you will have a resolution limit that you will need to stay at/under, so making…
Hi @SimonRogers, I'm getting a 404 Error on that url. Has this been resolved? Otherwise please re-upload a file that I can view or send test files to support@marmoset.co for us to review. Thanks!
Has anyone had the issue in Max 2010 where, when viewing a model in the viewport the textures are not showing up? Although when render is hit the textures show up just fine. I have applied other textures to the model and nothing happens. Anyone have any advice? Thanks.
This is probably a nub question, but i applied my skin to the head of my model and the texture appears to be a much lower resolution in view port. When i render it out it looks fine like the 1024X1024 map that it is. But when im in viewport it looks like its 256X256 or somethin and all blurry. Is there a setting for this?
Rock'n. yaz0r any chance of getting to play with the j3d viewer anytime soon? I know what you said on your blog, but just to be able to view the art assets would be inspiring. No need to bother with extracting flats or meshes.
