Yea, most of the concept guys are really good at just loosely sketching something in to get the overall gesture. But I do see them change stuff drastically on the fly. I don't see how you can do that without erasing. Of course, if your doing it digitally, that makes it super easy to do big changes quickly.

I would recommend not using subtraction brushes and just build all with additive. It allows for you to quickly change something if its not working out because you don't have to worry about moving two brushes. Also ive seen Max and Maya do strange things with subtraction brushes when importing in level blockouts.

Nice looking gun, I would say you have a nice base but I think you could add some good detail on top. You could probably try different things quickly by just edit the image above before you commit to work on the UV. Thumbs up, I love realistic skins.

@Ssjtroll Here's the screenshot of the material withing Sub Designer. I'm gonna try to make much better graph and with that a better material *Edit I quickly made some small changes to the material.
