Hi there! I've just started teaching myself the basics of 3D. Here are my first two models ever: A knife And some crates (I painted the texture too): Hopefully you guys can lend me some advice while I get a handle on the fundamentals. Looking forward to meeting you all!
Hi there :) I decided to go into some unknown territory and make some sand textures. These are my two first so they are not perfect, some guidelines and crits would be helpful. They look fairly similar, though definintly happiest with the darker one. The light one looked too, straight is a way to say it. One of my sculpts…
Starting this thread to share my personal character work. Most characters will be high resolution cinematic/cutscene characters. The renders will be quite large to show as much detail as possible. That said I'll try not to overload the thread with too many images. Critiques are very much appreciated. Here are two beauty…
Yes, that was the question sorry hehe, Okay cool, I was happy because there isn't too much difference between the two. That's a good point there will be more detail on the handle than the blade. Thank you so much for the feedback really appreciated!
Hah wicked. I wrote the same game concept years ago with a slightly different premise of course. It was a rabbit too. It typically takes Apple two weeks to approve an app so you should make it in time. Good luck!
They seem to look suitably bright in-game - the above is either renders (two last wagon pictures) or maya viewport screenshots (the rest), which doesn't adequately portrait the lighting that will be used. Still, will ensure they aren't too dark, thanks for the feedback :)
Hey looking great so far! :D really nice to see progress and jennifer is great :D But i have a feeling that the eyes of the other heads are a bit too similar. anyway just my two cents. Keep it up!
Shit man! Excellent stuff! Really cool seeing your progression in this thread over the two years of you posting on it. you use of color is amazing and appropriate. Wildlife picts are great too. Thks for sharing... now post moooooor
like the tanks in post two and the ground turret, not a fan of the texture work tho, practice makes perfect :P never heard of game maker before, i'd stick with current game engines but depends what you're into i guess
probably because the two edges are too close together and the ray caster is getting confused as to what goes to what to be honest. I wouldn't have them buffer down into the hard sharp edge though. That just wont look right.
