I'm 99% sure that setting a scriptJob in usersetup sticks as a global script for the entire session and doesn't get attached to the first scene in the session. I'll have to revisit that at some point. Cool that works for you though. :)
Save up for it. Or get the free cousin app Sculptris. http://pixologic.com/sculptris/ Or get 3D Coat, the Amateur edition is $99 and you can upgrade to Pro when you're ready to sell your work.
I haven't figured out the exact math/science behind it, this is as close as I get and it works 99% of the time. If you want the corners to touch, I just use the symmetry modifier, with the pivot in the inner corner.
notman said: Thanks. That's so weird though. Here's a rar of 453 pictures: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/44971441/Misc/Uncharted%E2%84%A2%204_%20A%20Thief%E2%80%99s%20End.rar
Wait what? People pirate Iphone games? Are they really that cheap not to pay a measley .99 pence? or whatever the price is in UK. What sites are they posted on? I wanna check them out when my game is done.
My main issue is that the base stone's texel resolution is so different from the rest, and this is where 99% of players will be. In terms of texture priority, getting that are looking great should be at the top of the list. Right now it is stretch and uneven.
The concept art part definitely depends on the studio. (And probably the style of the project.) The last place I was at I got concept art for like 99% of what I worked on. Not to mention paintovers mid-progress. Yeah, it was awesome.
Nevercenter Silo: http://nevercenter.com/ The cheapest version is 99 Dollars, the Pro version is 159, and it's wonderful. I would go for the Pro version, as the 'core' version lacks some things you'd need eventually, such as uv-editing.
Daammmn, now thats a really good sign! Be interested to see how well it holds up at $1.99 though, sweet spot seems to 99 cents after a short time at 1.99 or higher. Congrats though man :)
I know someone else did this recently, but here's my take on it. I've been working on it for way too long, thanks to other work. I'm ready to move on. 99% textured with the new DDO and rendered in TB2.
