btw, the debris from the tower was NOT transported and melted down in another country. There was a location, I believe in New Jersey, where all debris was taken and people were going through the debris to look for personal items to identify potential victims and to investigate what caused the structural failure.

I'd love a feature kind of like the plugged items on CGTalk. So instead of the banner at the top of the front forum page, you have images of featured work and then the usual banners in sub-forums and threads. I also vote to keep the news. It's always full of cool stuff.

Hello people, so I'm running some light baking tests for my project. It seems that I run into some problem. A black square texture is appearing after the bake in some of the objects on the scene. I have reflection probes and light probes in the scene, also I have loads of items laying around. Any idea?
Do you guy bake it as one grouped mesh? I am using xNormals. When I use it, I bake out each item separately. Boots. Hat. Clothes. Skin. But I was wondering, if there was a better way? Do you bake 1 whole low poly character with a whole high poly version?
