No it´s not outdated, it´s just that newer ssd´s have much more write cycles and algorithms to lengthen it´s lifetime. It´s true that it´s not that important anymore, but the fact that it wears of faster with many writes is still up to date. I don´t say that you should keep everything to it´s minimum, but tossing… -
