It’s one of those concepts you can stare at for ages. Every time, a new story starts to form in your head. I knew I had to turn it into a 3D environment eventually.
I worked on this over the course of about 6 months, squeezing in sessions of 30 minutes to 3 hours in my free time. It was the perfect excuse to explore some…
Well, for the peculiar case showed by @Dantert I'm not sure it's a good idea. The create polygon tool is one of the most basic tools of Maya and behave like a lot of other tools (Enter = validate the action). I don't think handling this is the goal of my script. This is the responsibility of the user to understand such…
While the source artwork was awesome (concepts/highpoly etc) the game itself entirely failed to hold my attention. Felt quite slow and clunky, although co-op was fun for a while. I originally got it on 360 and didn't get further than a few levels in, then I got the PC version hoping I'd enjoy it more since I'm not much of…
Loop stuff I don't fully get Not sure exactly what you mean by "support edge loops" but I guess its some split loop or loop shift thing- I get stuff easier with pictures. If its very specific but you do it all the time, maybe take the time to either write a script or ask people here in the tech talk section to either do it…
Wow! The terrain tools are super cool! Wish I could use them at school as well as at home though. Thanks Xoliul for the link. Thats gonna be a big help!
Took a little longer on this one, was trying out the new grease tool in Maya, it can really help out! Just need to get practicing on my 2D animations for it.
Cool I did not know this as well, and was rather sad to see yet another nice tool for Maya only again :) this should be a sticky so it does not get lost.
