Try starting with Leo Decaprio. He doesnt have Raiden's sharpness, but he does have the smooth features. -

hmmm that's kinda kewl. So regular ambient occlusion for rough and sharp reflection occlusion for shiny Will have to try that. -

the trensition between wood and soil/rock must be more sharp also some ambient occlusion would help -
