I'm feeling much better about this now. Adjustments made, including turning the body into wood. I have a tumultuous relationship with texturing and especially the idea of "dirt". I could probably rant for days but I won't :p . I understand that the industry needs it, so I need to be the problem solver they are looking for.…
Thanks for the feedback and paintover @Fabi_G! Yeah that's quite an easy fix that actually adds so much to the overall readability of that area of the strap. This is one of those details that got lost in the original scan I think :)
Ah okay, I will try to start there, then add layers until it is something sort-of-human For the Skull, I have finished it as fully as I could at the time. I should likely go back and open it and try to add as much detail as I can and sit down with Artistic Anatomy and make sure I have all the right bones and structures in…
I think the materials badly need a pass to break up surface types. The concrete, pipes, walls, all feel like the same lambert. Try adding specular highlights to both with different specular power values. Compositionally for the environment shots, I would suggest using the camera and lighting to highlight something…
I have watched a ton of tutorials or read a bunch over my time so far. Over that entire time I have never copied any part of the tutorials. The reason for that is as Racer said before it doesn't help you learn. It teaches you how to copy what someone else did. To truly learn you must study the techniques done by the author…

It's extremely annoying and also when you try to record this save in a macro action it often does less than the whole document for some uncertain reason. My guess probably by exactly same frame…
10/19/23 Project II, Zbrush Bust Sculpt! A 3D sculpted recreation of CanaryWitch's lovely DnD character, a unicorn wizard. I put a lot of love and care into his appearance. I think I did him justice, for it being my first time in Zbrush. Sculpted entirely in Zbrush and rendered in UE5.
Hello everyone, I am Aru and I recently did a studio ghibli inspired environment under 2 weeks as I was and still am in a crunch with uni assignments and all. Just wanted to link it here so you can check it out and also critique it and give me feedbacks so that I know what I am doing if I revisit this and for my future…
Update - to everyone that responded; thank you. It will take me a bit to evaluate the submissions as we are quite busy. I appreciate your patience. We’re currently working on static visual assets for a cyberpunk-themed website and e-commerce shop that sells enterprise servers and IT hardware. The aesthetic is dark with…
