There are lots of ways to do this. Swordslayer has some good advice, but I thought I'd chime in too. Although I'm not entirely sure how you want to rig it, this has the features I think you want. Move and Rotate the circle place the entire rig. Scale either dummy to modify the radius of the rig. Rotate either dummy to…
Hi guys ! I wanted to share a serie of robots I made months/years ago as I learned a lot while doing them, especially Akeytsu and 3DCoat on rigging/texturing processes, for those who don't know Akeytsu, it's a powerfull while being super simple ( btw ergonomic ^^ ) animation software, a fresh one as the v1.0 arrived just…
I recently started using MAYA and am new to it with my knowledge limited to only the modeling part. I created a scene using basic modeling but the problem is that file size is to big for objects modeled. Thanks for the quick reply! I'm using Max2011, and I dont know if the legs are in FK mode, but all I've done to create the rig is: 1.Create a pelvis/hub, 2. Create the two legs. This is as far as I can get because the problem makes it pointless going any further. All the settings should be at their defaults, but I have…
I use a 22 inch monitor but find that I need more space with Max when having multiple viewports up on screen. This is just a thought but, is it a lot easier nicer working on a big monitor like, maybe 26+? I'm pretty certain it's a no, but is there a way to separate a viewport so that you can put different viewports across…
Hey, I know there are a bunch of Digital Extremes people here, as well as quite a few people around Ontario so I figured I'd ask. Anyone from polycount attending DIG this year? We'll be there and have a booth in the small developers area of DIGx to show off our app which has been kept pretty quiet.:poly136:

I wouldn't call it bad, it definately works out fine in the game, feels like it is based around timing alot, since blocking is a big part of it, and enemies will block too, so you're blocking and waiting for the right time to strike. I haven't tried anything but sword/shield combo though.
