[UDK] 3D Fable Village
Hi guys I was making an environment from this concept (by skybolt) for a few weeks Here's my progress so far grass and sky is still UDK defaults texture feedback are sooooo welcome =) -
annoying z rbush issue
Uploaded with ImageShack.us this happened uot of nowhere. Ive tryed reseting to default UI and custm UI. I have to bring up command prompt to close it and the ztools are gone. Any help is apreciated! -

Surely Max is too widely used for them to risk just killing it? Because I don't think it would mean everyone will default to Maya. -

something new to play with unreal - i already have it as a full body on the default skeleton. mocking up the hair flow and volume with fibermesh now. -

You need to mess with distance and bias. Probably your bias is too low. If it's the default .001 try setting it .01 and rebake, or .1 and rebake. -

There's a mode called "Transparent To Mouse" that you can find in the right click menu under Mode, or by default at Ctrl+T. Have you tried that? :) -

Gotta love default modelling viewport shaders, they always make low poly look bad because of horrible lighting, looks great nonetheless! -

Just finished the alpha but it's causing problems with the metal strip on the body. Going to try to fix it but might end up just using the default alpha. -

This. All 3d apps like to work at their own default size. I cant stress how much easier unifying the mesh is at the beginning of a project.
