Ballard is 'down the hill' towards the water kinda between cap hill and queen anne. Your best bet is probally going to be first hill. Greenlake is in the U-district. thats quite a ways from cap hill. -

Few thoughts meanwhile: - If you do the visual occluders (like small hills) usually they are obstacles at the same time, e.g. player cannot go ower them. the hand is a child of the forearm, and the twist bone is also a child of the forearm, the illegeal action happens when you rotate one of the finger bones, a child of the hand bone -

You want your spear in the hand of the character, the spear should follow the hand, then the hand should follow the spear and eventually you want to move the spear without modifying the character at all ?
