Hey everyone, I am new to the forums, just thought I would say hello. Have been lurking for the past couple days, and I must say these forums are fantastic, a lot of amazing work shown on here. I am just finishing up my BA in legal studies, and have decided to change my life path and go back to school for Video Game…

I'm honestly not sure what you're aiming for (to me gradient texturing suggests the use of lookup tables and shaping curves) but... if you want it to look like a bunch of floor tiles it sort of already does - using a box shaped gradient would make it look more tiley if you want it to not look like a load of floor tiles…
Heya Would love some more crit on a wip bust (i posted this a while ago), and instead of bumping the old thread i thought i'd share how i try to polypaint realistic (i hope) skin textures from scratch. Realistic skin is a bit of a mindfuck, and i want to share a bit of my research - just dont hate me too much, my anatomy…
Hey all, I've been out of work and looking for new opportunities, and wanted to update my folio with a nice sculpted bust. So here is a crack at it. No mailing list, but I find its a handy platform since my niche market is there. Lots of features planned coming up to get it up to par with other marketplaces. CubeBrush:…

We are currently working on a mobile arcade game called Gary Getman. The core gameplay and direction are already defined — we are not redesigning the game. What we are looking for is…
Warren: There are still a few features that Blender needs to have to work well in big film pipelines. Stuff like supporting UDIMs, Alembic, and OpenVDB. There's no Arnold plugin too (although there are plugins for Vray and Renderman, which I imagine should both support multi-tile textures but I don't know for sure.) So I…
I'm working on a project for a game asset and I'm baking the maps in Marmoset. But this part right here keeps coming up with this error. I tried to paint skew adjustments but It doesn't look right, so there must be something else I can do. Maybe it's because the low poly model doesn't have enough detail? But if that's the…
