Heya, PC! Yesterday I posted an astronaut head sculpt/texture and recieved quite a lot of heavy criticism for it, as I should have. I've only ever sculpted a few heads, and said heads weren't the best. Because of that, I spent the last few hours putting this together. This is my first time sculpting mouths and eye-lids. I…

I want to try using the Wrap3d / Texture XYZ workflow on a head sculpt, where it auto retopos your sculpt to one of their meshes so you can use all the texture maps but I'm not sure how I would put the head back onto the body whilst keep all the maps and same topology
Hey Polycount!! Super excited to have finished this 2 day speed sculpt. Wanted to spend more time on it but Halloween came by so fast! Hey everyone! I've been trying to do a likeness sculpt of Jon Bernthal and this is my progress so far but, feel stuck with the sculpt and need some critiques, tips, or an extra set of eyes to help me get unstuck with the sculpt and move forward with it. So help is appreciated!
Hi there, I wouldn't worry about the fine details yet, get the structure right and the rest will follow :) Looking at the screen shots and without knowing how your scene is set up, my first thought would be that it looks like you have been sculpting with an orthographic view rather than a perspective one. If so, that would…
I think you got details down well, but I think what's an issue is the proportions. Right now her body looks super stretched thin, kinda alien like. It looks like she is over 10 heads tall. This can work if the character is heavily stylized, but your character features don't read as stylized. It looks like your aiming for…
