Hi there! I am having difficulty finding resources to generate a tiling mask that is non-uniform as the image below. I want to have an Omni-directional tiling pattern that has: * Varied Size of bricks * Varied Orientation * Non-uniform (breaks grid) Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Hi @ all I just saw the quixel trailer for they're products on quixel.com There was a really cool and realitic map "bricks" my question is how to produce maps and normals with the same quality and sharpness ? I mean it says 8K texture ok, but that can't be just the reason for the quality. ???
I was watching this tutorial on how to create a brick wall material in Substance Designer :https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LjTONstmYz0&t=1195s At 19:35, he used a node called the Get Slope, which you can adjust high clip degrees/low clip degrees and falloff. Does anyone willing to share this node? Or does anyone know if…
Also remember you can mirror houses to make 3 variations into 6. Sometimes you'll see the same floor plan with different roofs, and you can do the same house with different details like brick, stone, stucco, vinyl siding, etc.
That fog gave it a nice touch :) I think you could tone down the saturation on the brick decal (the one on the left) - somehow it feels out of place. Could be the lightning tho, duno - just putting my thoughts out there. Keep it up dude *fightooo*
So, when you want to texture something, you first go there and see what already exist? If you want a brick wall for exemple, you search for the name ? Is there any way to preview the material ? To see how the normal map behave of stuff like this.
It really seems like your wall here is sunk half way in the ground. You don't have any sort of trim on the ground, and your arches look like the tip of a much taller arch. There are a few seams in your brick texture. Good luck!
I'm very concerned about it. This isnt a natural disaster, they are somewhat predictable, and you have more of a chance. If theres a riot flashpoint on your way to work and some thug decides to throw a brick, game over. London polycounters sound off please.
I can't remember where I heard this so I don't have a source, so we can just leave it as a theory. The brick and mortar retailers threaten to not stock these $60 games if they are being undercut by the digital distribution. It's shady to say the least.
Hey man, cool looking scene. My only concern is I don't think brick and mortar buildings, and hydro/telephone wires were possible during the Old West' days. Might be something to look into. Nice work so far though :)
