Promotion is a superb low colour painter that lets you define palettes. I also used to use DeBabelizer when working on Gameboy stuff (for taking a high colour image to low colour quickly).
yup yup. For ComicCon, you have to act quickly. I learned that this year when I looked for a room 2 weeks after they started taking orders, and found nothing within 7 miles.
quickly threw it into zbrush and took the concept art and smacked it on with projection master.. then used mask by intensity and did uniform displace inflation.. turned out pretty weak, but gives me a few ideas. anyway
That said, your new textures are a huge improvement over the old ones. Just keep in mind all the good points these guys have made - keep it up, you're obviously learning very quickly!

Architecture Visualization test. This is my first attempt at arch viz. The project was done to better understand lighting in Ue4 and make a scene quickly. This was a two day project. In maya you can select using constraints like flipped normals, n-gons, etc. Is there a similar feature in 3ds max. It's the one thing that I really cant find a quick way of doing in max that I'm use to doing quickly in maya.
due to having too many things to think about all at once, i've had to accelerate to the texturing stage. which means i've baked down the normals (although i'm going to be redoing the lowpoly ear very soon). the bake seems to have gone really smoothly and shouldn't need much (if any) photoshopping. texturing is fail as…
